The massacre at the Al-Ashara border-crossing in Deir ez-Zor

On Oct 4, 2017, in the afternoon, Russian warplanes bombed 15 missiles on the river crossing in the city of Al-Ashara and on the other side in the village of Darang, east of Deir ez-Zor. After the Russians intensified bombardment of their villages and towns, the people attempted to cross to the other bank of the Euphrates River. An aircraft bombed a gathering of people and a boat in the middle of the river.
